Environment

Our facilities are designed for serious players with a desire to learn and practice. After 10 years of professional teaching in baseball facilities John, Jeff, and Pat Pinkman have created a bright, flexible and safe indoor environment that meets the demands of elite teams, professional instructors or father and son workouts. The facilities are available to rent 7 days a week. Early morning and late night hours are available.

The Pinkman Baseball Academies are dedicated to personal service. Owned and operated by the Pinkman Baseball Family in Loudoun County and Fairfax County Virginia, it is important to us that you feel welcomed and a part of our team. Communications are a vital aspect of the service we provide. We conduct daily business hours in Dulles and Springifeld Va. between 12PM and 9PM Monday thru Thurs and between 9AM and 5PM Sat and Sun so that you may speak to a person on the phone or email and expect a prompt reply.

Our scheduling is computer based. We accept credit cards.

Leading Edge Technology

Except for exploding scoreboards and helmet cameras, baseball, as a sport, has not used the evolving medical, imaging, and teaching technologies to its full capacity. We have in the past and will continue to provide cutting edge information, hardware and software to our players.

All students who attend our baseball training school/academy in Virginia benefit from our state of the art video analysis network. To our knowledge this is the only system in the country open to the public that can record a single throwing or hitting motion, have that file saved, then view that file on a 32" LCD monitor in another room. These high-speed cameras freeze the motion of the ball as well.

We also operate Stalker Professional Radar Gun pitching lanes with automatic velocity displays. Students are able to record and maintain their velocity workouts on a computerized file system. The program tracks velocity and balls vs. strikes by pitch type in both graphic and numeric formats.

Professional Training

The Pinkman Baseball Academies are a place for those players who demand results from professional training and want to experience it in game performance. It is a place for teachers who are committed to the success of their students, whatever their age, and who continue to be actively engaged in developing their knowledge in baseball and the art of instruction. It is a place for those with a sincere love and respect for the game.

The Pinkman Academy is the home of Pinkman Pitching, Catching, Power House Hitting, and the Virginia Throwing Motion Laboratory. We offer year round private and group baseball instruction in pitching, catching and hitting.

For fastpitch softball players Coach Jim Brackin offers softball pitching and catching instruction. As we grow we hope to provide homes to additional teaching professionals. 

Both academy's maintain a pro shop with hard to find professional equipment and books that we are convinced will assist your development.

The Dulles School/Academy is located in Loudoun County Va. just off the Dulles Toll Road on Rt. 606 and adjacent to Dulles Airport, while the Springfield School/Academy is located in Fairfax County Va. just off the Capitol Beltway on I-95.  Both are within easy reach of the metropolitan area.
